moment in time

A moment in time

I felt scared, hopeful and frightened                                  I felt lonely and lost

I saw rocks and trees                                                          I saw the rails of the cage and people 

I heard silence and the leaves                                             staring at me
rustling on the trees                                                            I heard growling from the other animals

I wonder how high up am I and                                        and excited children
 how thin is the track I am walking on.                           I wonder if I will ever see my family again.
