Film Study

This week in Tui class, we are doing a film study about the Christmas movie Klaus. The movie themes  are Christmas, giving , making a change and kindness so I highly recommend it. First we watched the movie, then we got given a contract with 12 tasks on it that we had to complete this week. My favourite task on the contract is when we had to write a letter to a friend explaining why they should watch the movie.

should Guy Fawkes be banned in NZ?

Should the sale of Guy Fawkes be banned in NZ? I agree that Guy Fawkes should be banned in NZ because they scare animals, they can effect us, they could cause fires, hurt the environment and some can be expensive and a waste of money.

Guy Fawkes scare animals and pets because the loud noise can cause them to do things they don't normally do because the noise is to loud so they can't think properly. Guy Fawkes also can disturb your neighbours because they might be trying to sleep or they might have pets as well so it could frighten them or even scare them away.

Guy Fawkes can also be bad for us if we don't use them carefully or be safe with them. If you don't stand back far enough from the fireworks one of the sparks could flick into your eye causing you to go blind.

If Guy Fawkes are used inappropriately they can cause fires and then the fires can grow bigger and bigger destroying more and more land in a second. Also the smoke from the fires are breaking the ozone layer making it hotter for us.

Guy Fawkes can just be a waste of  money because some can be expensive but don't even work or they just last for a second.

In conclusion I think that Guy Fawkes should be banned in NZ because they scare animals, cause fires, hurt the environment and they can be a waste of money.
